Dreadful skin

OMG my skin is horrific. I suffered with acne as a teenager (on Roaccutane) but I swear that it was never this bad. I never had big yellow spots on my cheeks for a start.
I am 46 and my skin looks like a 15 year old boy! Also seems to be some rosacea.
I am on Oestrogel/Norethisterone/Testogel- is it likely to be any of these?
Seeing the GP tomorrow and hoping that they can give me some advice.

Yes and yes

Sorry you are feeling awful.

Norethisterone is an androgenic progesterone ( more like a male hormone) and so is testo, obviously.

Double whammy.

Maybe you can change to something else?

Thanks for your reply. That makes sense. It seems that the only switch I can make is the Norethisterone?
Utrogestan did not work for me as I had worse irregular bleeding than before I was on any treatment - is there any other that you could recommend?

There is only the Mirena coil.

You might get on better with Utrogestan if you used it vaginally. (They have done is this way in Europe for years. my meno consultant prefers women to try it that way.)

It's not actually licensed for UK use that way but women do it and it's fine.

You might find you don't get the erratic bleeding that way.
