Testosterone experiences

I’ve been on testosterone for about 3 weeks now. Primarily for libido, but also energy, brain fog, motivation and muscles/strength. So far I think I’ve noticed a difference in energy levels but other than that nada.

I wonder if those that have had testosterone prescribed could comment on how long it took to help with the following (if it did).

Libido
Energy
Brain fog
Motivation
Muscles/Strength

My Free Androgen Index has gone up from 1 to 4 already, so I know I’m absorbing okay, but worried as I’m not really feeling much yet. I really want my brain and body to work again!

You would be prescribed these hormones if your symptoms suggest you are perimenopausal which are the years before your periods fully stop. These symptoms can be severe for some women and mild for others and anywhere in between. your GP can test and prescribe.

I received my prescription for Androfeme today and have been on other HRT a for a couple of years. I hope it helps me.

I've definitely finally got some thinking and focus back. Feels like it's been a long time.

It's taken 4 months on testosterone. Libido was sooner. And I was on slightly too much after very little according to blood tests, but I simultaneously had to adjust my thyroxine dose so I've no idea if it will need adjusting in the future. I'm on half dose of testogel. I need to see how I am in another couple of months with both levels.
