Painful Ovulation

Is it just me or does anyone else experience horrible cramps and even nausea when they ovulate? I’m 48, 49 this year so presumably well into perimenopause.

I used to get the odd twinge during ovulation, but it’s much worse now. Is it a sign that menopause is around the corner?

Yes, seems to go on for several days and aches usually in one side, sometimes down legs too. Nausea sometimes. Worse than period pain.

Yes, I've been peri for a couple of years anyway and I actually thought my endometriosis was flaring up. I'm so glad you posted this, the pain in my side and down the one side of my body is horrible. I feel like my intestines are so swollen. I use the Flo app and its always at ovulation. I'm on Femeston 1/10. X

Sounds pretty common then, ugh. I’m feeling better now, but I suppose I’ll have to reach for the Ibuprofen again if it happens next month.

All part of the peri fun. 😂
