Early breakthrough bleed on Everol and Utrogesteron?

Any one have any advice/knowledge on the subject?

I have been on Everol/Utrogesteron (200mg) for 18 months, so not new to it but for the first time ever my breakthrough bleed appears to be occurring on day 23 instead of the usual 28. Am assuming it’s breakthrough as had spotting for 36 hours and then full on 🤦‍♀️ bleed.

usually when I start counting my Utrogesteron days I start day 1 in the start of the bleed.

this has me all in a tizzy - it’s Easter, no dr surgery open and although I feel a bit rough (period pain, a little headachey/sick - I do get hormonal migraines) I don’t think it’s an issue that can’t wait. But I am curious is this is a) normal and b) when do I start the counting??

any advice very welcome!

TIA

Hello no answers I'm afraid but I've been on Estradot and Utrogestan for about two years and experiencing the same - I'm on day 23 and my 'period' appears to have started (I wondered why my weight had shot up this morning but now it makes sense) and the month before last the bleed started on day 21 (in between I had an unusually long cycle). I haven't changed anything lately, other than trying to get more sleep which has helped massively with my mood. I also use Testogel but been on that for about eight months.

Sorry I hope you don't mind me jumping on this thread, but I only came on Mumsnet to look this up!

glad I’m not alone - hopefully someone will have some ideas for us :)

How odd! After 18 months this has just happened to me this week too!

Do you think they've changed 'recipe' due to shortages?

it would be good to know wouldn’t it! Am also have the period from hell 🤦‍♀️

Mine have got heavier and longer recently :(

Mine too - they were a couple of days, although when I started they were unexpectedly heavy very suddenly at times (had to leave work as there were flooding moments - sorry tmi!)
