I am 44. Have the m coil. I am on my second one. I used to still get periods on the coil but the last 6-12 months only the odd one now and again. I don't have flushes. But feel like most of the time I am injured or my body hurts. I have always been fit and healthy and now It takes so much effort to do exercise. My family are surfing tomorrow and I am really doubting weather I will be able to take part. My hip, back and neck seem to be the main problems. The odd tweak puts me out for weeks. I spend most of the time moaning bout some ache or pain. I have gained about a stone and generally feel that I am much older than I am! Do I go down the HRT route in the hope it cures my failing body and I can continue with exercise and the activities I love doing. Is it really a wonder drug! Also have zero interest in sex, would rather have a cuppa and a custard cream. Ir is it a bit early and I need to accept that my body is older....?
