One period after another

I'm 51, not on Hrt but cycles are wobbly now, from 22 to 38 days. This month I had a late but normal period. It stopped on day 5 but since 10 I'm getting spotting, maybe even a light period.

I have googled that this is common in peri but I have health anxiety and ocd so anything unusual in regards to bleeding probably rattles me more than it should.
Just looking for some reassurance that this is not something I need to speak to a gp about as it is simply my hormones and nothing more.
Just have a lack of females around me to share with, so difficult to discuss.
Thanks

I had this. I went to the GP and she suggested the Morena coil. I rarely have periods now.

Bleeding continuously I found really debilitating. it is worth exploring your options

Last year i thought i was done, had a gap of about 5 months, then in feb i had a period and then another less than 3 weeks later, both typically heavy, I had premenstrual symptoms almost immediately after first one finished. I used to be a reliable 35 days apart, I've not had another since. I am 55 so your situation sounds similar to mine

Thanks both. I guess I just needed that reassurance that it is nothing to worry about at this stage of life. It is not heavy at all. Just that fear in the back of my mind that it could be more sinister, but that is the ocd/ health anxiety doing it's worst. Smears etc all up to date.
Thanks for taking the time to answer.
