Anxiety / Panic in Menopause any tips etc

I'm fully menopausal now (2 years no period) and anxiety / panic seem to have really kicked in again.
I'm already on a low dose of AD from prior to this.
HRT didn't agree with me so going to try natural things. Don't know if this will be helpful to anyone else or f anyone has any other tips to add.

  • taking a 50+ multi vit
  • going to start a fish oil tablet today
  • going to aim to have more regular bedtime
  • have found some yoga relaxation classes on You tube. Plus 'body scan' relaxation videos,
  • 20 minute walk each day
  • 2 x cups of chamomile tea per day plus water

Second magnesium. An older friend also recommended black cohosh and some other herbal options as well as looking at my diet.

Also, Vitamin D. Autonomic relaxation. Sound healing. As natural and plant based a diet as possible with as little sugar as possible. For actual panic attacks, the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 technique (5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch etc- I often get them in the wrong order but the point is the mindfulness aspect). There's also the STOP technique.

Sending you good thoughts - for every infuriating bouncy individual who breezes right through it all there are lots of us who don't....

What a there an option to try some other hrt combinations? If he short term pain of adjusting could be worth the long term gain

I only drink very minimal alcohol if any at all so I'm ok with that (and don't drink caffeine.)
Will have a look at the Passiflora.
With magnesium does everyone take it as a tablet or the spray - and what time of day.

Re HRT - I'd be worried about doing more trial and error at the moment while feeling really shaky but definitely something to think about for the future.
