Purpura from HRT

I started Evorel patches 4 weeks ago, as yet have not noticed any positive difference, but at least am not crying continuously as I was on previous HRT!
But I woke up 2 days ago with lots of little bruises on the underside of my arm. Of course, on googling, there are all sorts of reasons, but I did come across 'purpura' as a side effect of Evorel. I'm wondering if this could mean something bigger, i.e. is this a blood clotting issue and should I stop using this HRT. Does this type of bruising last for long, if anyone has experienced it? Thanks for any insight. Pic attached.

I would talk to you gp. I have evorel 75 and all I get is sticky patches. That doesn't look good.

I'm covered in rectangular sticky patches on my thighs too! Yes, I think I will ring the GP on Monday. I'm extremely tired also, having to nap a lot the last week 😴

I've only been on it the same time as you. I don't get patches like that it almost looks like you've itched it in your sleep. I have loads of sticky squares over my thighs and butt 😆 it's so glamorous. I am only just beginning to feel less tired even though doctor said I'd feel better instantly! I'd get that checked

Naughty1205 · 31/03/2023 20:21

No, it's not itchy at all! More like little bruises, little bit sore when pressed.

Just checked, it's Evorel Conti, 50/170mcg.

Edited

Hi, mine just disappeared as quickly as they came. It wasn't a raised rash. How long have you got this rash?
