Post menopausal bleeding 13 months after last period

I’ve just worked myself up into a frenzy, I’m 54 and last period was in February 22 and I’ve just started bleeding today. I will make an drs appointment tomorrow morning, any reassurances from people that have had this and it’s proved to be ok. What are the Drs likely to do?

Me - pretty much the same (age and time elapsed)
Forgot about it for a few months then mentioned it to GP at HRT review.
Whipped through on the 2 week wait thing for scan and exam. No issues at all but the consultant asked why I'd waited so long...

Hi. I had this.

They did some tests and it turned out that I had a polyp and ovarian cysts. Other than that it was all fine. But it was worrying as Google says some scary things. Get checked out and hopefully you'll get some answers and reassurance.

I'm now several years post meno and on HRT. I've bled a couple of times but that's normal on HRT I believe.
