Too many vitamins?

Hi all, happy Monday.
Is it possible to take “too many” vitamins in addition to HRT??
I take collagen (for healthy skin, nails and hair) magnesium (in hope it helps me sleep) and Menopace as a general multi vitamin.
Not sure if they actually do me any good and wondering if I’m just wasting my money. Px

Waste of money! (mainly.)

Apart from daily Vit D that's recommended for everyone from October to April (at least.)

You don't need extra vitamins unless your diet is restricted.
eg 'I don't eat fruit and veg and therefore I need Vit C as a tablet'.

Collagen is different as it's made from fish skin or bovine - the jury's out on whether it works.

Magnesium- is it helping you sleep?

Menopace- why are you using it? Do you want to try HRT instead if your symptoms are bad? Most of the ingredients in Menopace are found in our diet anyway, or could be. Maybe read the label and see if you are doubling up?

Multi- vit (waste of money according to my specialist.)

My menopause Dr said they would do no harm but there was no need to replace them when they run out

The vitamins easiest to overdose on are A and D, it take a lot to overdose on C. Different Bs have different danger levels

In my experience Collagen works for me for joint pain. I have ligament pain.

There are quite a lot of studies which show it does help with ligaments. There are quite a few studies showing it helps skin too, but I’ve yet to experience that. Been about 3 months and it helped my ligaments within a few days and has got just better since.

I also take Vitamin D2 and K2 and Vitamin C and Zinc.
