Just started utrogestan - period?

I've just started HRT, literally 5 days in.
I'm on estrodiol gel and utrogestan capsules.
I was mid cycle so started taking the utrogestan. Last night I had a really mild backache, like I get on the day of my period and this morning I'm slightly bleeding, it feels like a period.
Do I stop the utrogestan?

My periods are a little irregular of late, mostly shorter cycles of 19-22 days which would fit but it says to take on days 15-26.

I will try to speak to my GP today but it's Monday, and I'm not overly hopeful!

Carry on with Utrogestan.
Eventually, after a few cycles, the HRT cycle will be your normal cycle and you should only bleed after the last Utrogestan each month.

Also- you don't try to follow your own cycle on HRT.

You are creating a new cycle. If you started Utrogestan 5 days ago (22nd?) start it again 22 April, 22 May etc.

Ignore your own 'mid cycle' as it will never be the same each month.

Ah ok, I didn't really get any guidance from the Gp regarding taking them, I just read the leaflets.

I'll power through Wink

Hi OP . Just to say- I have no answers- just exactly the same here! 5 days in to HRT incl utrogestan and started bleeding. I presumed this was the 'spotting' so waiting for it to settle tbh.
