I'm on day 3 of the above, and I'm feeling a bit spaced out, not really with it.

I've had a bit of a headache this morning, but it went after paracetamol.

I'm assuming it's just my body starting to adjust?

If it carries on I'll speak to GP.

Did you get any funny side effects in the early days?

I felt nauseous every morning for the first few weeks, it would last from a few minutes to an hour. I’ve been on them
now for 15 months and only very occasionally feel nauseous.

When to do apply the gel and take the tablet?

CLEO42 · 25/03/2023 23:21

I've been on the gel for 3 weeks and started the tablets last week. I'm feeling pretty rough tonight - nauseous and flatulant. I dont seem to be able to tolerate the progesterone as I felt wonderful with just the gel. I 'd been on trisequens for 3 years previously but had found the progesterone tabs made me incredibly low and anxious.
Also, my boobs are growing by the day, and they ache. I feel like I need to carry them round in my hands.

Do you take the tablets at night?

MedievalMadness · 26/03/2023 00:03

I remember when I started getting lots of random bleeding for the first 6 months even though my periods had stopped. I've noticed if I up the oestrogel to 2 pumps instead of 1 at night I get random bleeding after about a week. I was told to take the utrogestan before bed as it can make you feel drowsy.

Thanks for your replies. I take the tablet at night and the gel in the mornings.

These feelings seem to of subsided now. I've had a bad headache this afternoon and a bit of spotting, my normal period would of been due tomorrow (as I had been irregular, dr said to pick a day to start the tables and that would be 1/25) I somehow assumed 9 days in it wouldn't happen and I'd have my bleed after day 25.
