Hi all, could use some advice please.
Started sandrena a week ago and am now having an early bleed. Do I start with progesterone tablets today or wait for the start of next month?
My doctor was not very clear and will take weeks to talk to her.
Also do you continue applying the gel whilst taking the tablets?
Any advice gratefully received.

I don't want to pretend to be the fount of all knowledge but basically you take oestrogen gel daily and you can either do the progesterone for 2 weeks of cycle, 2 weeks off or days 1-25. I would start progesterone as soon as you bleed. Sometimes if your cycle is irregular it's hard to get the progesterone right.

Ps I often bleed if adjusting my oestrogen. Recently switched to patches and had the heaviest period! When I started hrt I was all over the place. It's oestrogen that triggers bleeding, sometimes takes a couple of weeks to settle.
