Sage + black cohosh

I've just turned 40 and have been experiencing drenching night sweats for a few years - initially during the week before my period and now for the last 6 months basically every night.

I'm awaiting blood tests through my GP (with the hoping of maybe getting HRT) but have been desperate for something in the meantime.

I saw that many people have found sage and black cohosh to be effective, so bought both and have noticed a big improvement (for the first time in months not had to change my top multiple times in the night!) - but I'm wondering if I'm ok to be taking both at once, most people seemed to be taking one or the other?

Can't find any info about this online so thought I'd see if anyone else has done similar? If it continues like this I won't be needing the hrt!

Can’t help with your question, but I did find that alcohol made the sweats worse.

Thanks for replying! I've found that too and more or less cut it out bar a glass or two over the weekend

I tried menopace but the only thing that stopped my night sweats was HRT, and even then I've had to go from a 50 patch to a 75 to get rid of them.

Good luck OP.
