How to deal with night sweats when coming off hrt

I was on HRT for 2 years, primarily for the night sweats. It helped originally but for the past 6 months or so they have crept back in and been increasing. My GP upped my dose but I didn't see any improvement so have decided to come off it altogether. It has been 2 weeks now and being honest the night sweats have continued but got no worse than they were when I was on the HRT. So I'm looking for any other treatments or remedies that have worked for others that I could try instead? I don't really suffer with any other symptoms ( I don't think, my husband might disagree!) so any tips that could help with the night sweats would be really appreciated, thank you

Is it not worth trying to get the HRT right?

What were you on and what dose?

There is nothing else that is as good.

Thanks for your reply

To be honest, I had more side effects on the hrt then off it, 2 stone weight gain ( I know this is most likely the menopause itself than the hrt, but still, anxiety, migrains, palpitations)

Since coming off the patches the o ly thing I'm left with is the night sweats, so I'm happy with that decision, I was just hoping to hear if anybody had found any relief from these outside of hrt.
