Accidentally did 4 pumps oestrogen. And how do you fit sex in?

Just moving from patches and misunderstood and did 4 pumps last night and feel ROUGH. One of the reason I moved from patches is cos they didn’t stick well, clearly was absorbing far less than the dosage. Once this wears off will try one pump morning one at night.

One q though, how do you have sex? I’ll now have the gel, then vaginal progesterone order and vaginal oestrogen cream, there won’t be room for anything else 😳Surely have to pan in advance so can move timing of meds . . .

Just do the gel am, the vaginal cream is twice a week so work around that maybe and insert the utrogestan after sex? Obviously allowing 15mins or so. Unless you have sex every night in which case use the vaginal cream on a morning.

You can insert the Utrogestan any time of day, I was told (just be careful gravity doesn't mean it comes out before it's absorbed.)

The night time regime is there as it can cause drowsiness for women taking it orally.

OR you can swap to taking Utrogestan orally some days if that's easier.

The guidance with gel is no skin to skin contact for one hour after applying.

Thanks, I’m doing the cream nightly for three weeks then dropping down to 2 x week so that makes life easier.
