Weird blood test results

Hi,

can anyone offer any insight into these blood test results? Have been in touch with the drs for nearly three years re early menopause, I’m 41 now. Mum was 44 when she had finished her periods and I have lots of symptoms I won’t bore you with.

I’ve been on mini pill until early jan when I had enough of the bleeding and came off and crashed straight back into dire peri symptoms.

so been for more blood tests. Results are that I’m low in estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. But fsh levels are totally normal. At 5.6!! Tests done on day three of cycle.

has anyone heard of this before? I’m at a loss as to what it means.

i have more blood tests booked in for my next cycle.

I'd repeat family history and demand a trial of hrt

My fsh was fine but I was very peri and started hrt far too late imo at 44.

This charity may help too

I think I’m wondering if low everything and normal fsh could actually indicate something other than peri menopause?

or if you have low estrogen and testosterone etc then it’s definitively peri regardless of fsh?

Repeat the tests in a month.
My specialist (fertility and meno) suggests 2 lots of blood tests over 2 months.

And as PP says, if you try HRT and it works, that's what was needed.

I think dr is saying back on mini pill unless second lot of tests show high fsh.

Thats why I’m wondering if something other than peri is going on.
