Don't want a period

Hi, I'm in perimenopause and take daily 2 pumps estrogel and 200 mg or utrogestan for 14 days.
I could really do without having a period - can I take the ultrogestan for the rest of the month to prevent it?

I get a bleed anyway at day 9 of the progesterone, progesterone triggers the bleed. Wouldn't no progesterone make more sense? (but also risky as the uterine lining will get too thick)

That's usually why a Mirena would be fitted - could that be a choice for you?
