Ok, I admit it, I do not have a CLUE…I mean, I’m 53, haven’t had a period in 12 years since having a coil inserted after DS2. Had the last coil taken out about 6m ago. No periods. But very few if any menopause symptoms. I’m on lots of meds for young onset Parkinson’s and have had brain surgery and gamma knife radiation surgery too. My question is…. How do I find out if I have ‘done’ the m-pause or not?

You may be through it but meno symptoms (or rather, symptoms due to low/ no hormones) can continue to show up way past the actual ceasing of periods. Years later

If no periods after a year post mirena you could consider yourself post menopausal I believe.

Not everyone needs Hrt but from what I've read, some women find they need start it a few years after menopause to help life quality/ bone density/ sleep/ mental health etc. it's also protective for heart issues.
