I've repeatedly tried to get a doctor appointment this week but haven't managed to yet.
Last week I had one as I thought I had a UTI , my sample was clear and even the lab test was clear yet the the GP still gave me six antibiotics ,.I think he did this to get me out of the room.
I have lots of symptoms which I think might be peri menopause , I wondered if anyone has experienced the same ??
Urge incontinence (this started recently )
Itchy vaginal area and anus, anxiety which has got worse recently including panic attacks , low mood , low libido , tired , some aches but I've been taking turmeric which seemed to help.
I'm 44 years old , regular periods , I've been tracking my symptoms and the itch seems to be worse before my period but this cycle it's carried on as has the anxiety and other symptoms.
I'm so scared if being fobbed off if I can even get an appointment 🥺
Any advice I would be grateful 😊

Could be lichen sclerosis
Or you may need topical oestrogen
Try pesssaries?

Thank you for replying , I don't think it's lichen as I don't have any patches , everything looks normal it's just so uncomfortable and paired with the urge incontinence it's really making me feel helpless

Sounds horrid
Maybe a topical oestrogen will help?

I'll certainly ask about the topical oestrogen , I feel like an old lady all of a sudden.
I had hormone bloods done in December and everything was normal so they dismissed my other symptoms ,.I feel like I'm back to square one and I never move forward 🥺
