Cramps between period - perimenopause symptom?

I think I’m in perimenopause. I’m 48 and my cycles are down from 30 days to 23-25 in the last few years and my most recent cycle was 21 days. Lots of breast pain (always had this but has been worse the last year - been checked at breast clinic). So far I haven’t really had any other symptoms that I can definitely say are perimenopause. I have anxiety anyway and have had a lot of stuff going on over the last couple of years anyway with bereavement and the Covid pandemic. I do have trouble sleeping sometimes and sometimes pre menstrual irritability/tearfulness

I sometimes have period type cramps in the week before my period during/after exercise. 5 years ago I had an episode of mid cycle cramping and bleeding which was fully checked out with abdominal and tv ultrasound and only found adenomyosis

I had a health check last year which included another abdominal and tv ultrasound and all ok.

Today I had period type cramps which lasted about 30 minutes. No spotting or bleeding. I’m 10 days into my cycle and around ovulation according to my period tracker (though I realise I might not be ovulating every month anymore). Basically I’m asking whether this a known perimenopause symptom. I’m freaking out slightly about it but trying to rationalise and wondering if anyone has had similar in perimenopause

Hi, I'm 41 and I'm experiencing similar but I'm having sort of a dull period pain that lasts for days in between my periods. I first saw the GP about it in December last year as I completely missed a period but had awful cramps and a heavy feeling. My periods are usually really regular too. I've also been having hot flushes at night and low libido, and weight gain. I already had anxiety so can't really say if that's worse.

The GP did some blood tests and stated 'you're not menopausal'. Not helpful really. My periods got back to a more regular cycle by January but I'm still getting this month long dull pain and this is difficult to describe but I sort of feel like there's something uncomfortable in my vagina. Like it's got something stuck in it. My GP has arranged a scan for me next week so I should find out more then.

Hi! I am 44. It also started with shorter cycles last year, 21 days, then 22 and then it gradually came back to 27 days, but I had always been regular, with 28-30 days cycle. I also experienced breast tenderness which was so severe I couldn't even touch them. Had 3 mammograms and 2 ultrasounds, they found cysts but they were stable, not growing . I will need to repeat mammo in a few month. Now this year all of a sudden the 21-day cycle came back. The period itself is short with 2 heavy but bearable days. I also experience slight bloating and lower back pain which goes away right after my period ends but returns on the 8th day of the cycle. So basically I have 3 days without pain. Doc ordered an ultrasound to see what's going on. If it's just perimenopause, I would be so happy. Don't want them to find anything serious. I have bad thoughts in my head..
