Menopause/Peri - feel hopeless

I'm 43 and peri-menopausal, have been since birth of 3rd child pretty much (four years ago). I have tried HRT which amongst other side effects gave me constant recurring thrush. Various doses and types - none agree with me.
I have brain fog, painfully dry skin, barely sleep and still three young children to look after and a full-time job.
That's about it really - I'm irritable, exhausted and can't remember what it was like to feel human at this point.
Stick with the HRT? Keep at it? That's about it - I just needed to vent....

I was peri menopausal and have been for years. Right at the end of lockdown, I was called in for a radical hysterectomy. The incision in across my abdomen. I been in pain and had a horrendous healing journey for 9 months. I am an absolute wreck.

Have you had your thyroid checked out? Checked properly I mean? Do you know what your TSH and FT4 levels are? It starting after the birth of your third is suspicious for a thyroid problem, as is the dry skin. Could be perimenopause as well of course.
