Hrt and breast size

I've increased my dose of estrogel this month and have also gone from sequential utrogestan to daily vaginal. Finally (after many years) my libido is showing signs of reappearance - yay! However... my weight seems to be increasing on this new dose and my breast have gone really tender, hard and big! Does anyone know if this settles down (weight gain and breast tenderness)? Don't like it... feel uncomfortable and like they'll explode if they get any bigger.. Actually similar to what I used to get when premenstrual... but of course in those days things wd settle and swellings reduce as soon as the period arrived. :-/

It might settle down but you're going to have to balance the benefits from the higher dose (why did you increase it?) and the bigger boobs.

Everyone reacts differently. It's evidently down to how many estrogen receptors we have in various parts of the body. My boobs haven't grown that much but my withdrawal bleeds are very heavy more so than my old normal periods.

Thanks @JinglingSpringbells ! I've been taking and increasing hrt because of my non-existant libido as well as brain fog and low energy... I really hope that with a nalanced diet and time it'll settle down a buy!

My boobs are much bigger now. And a bit tender, but manageable.

HRT for about 9 months so far on 50 patches.

Wish my libido would come back. Am on testosterone now to try that.

@lightlypoached Good luck with the testosterone! I've been on it for nearly 5 months now, only just beginning to notice a twinge! But it seems to have cone back a bit with upping the estrogel to 4 pumps per day and upping the utrogestaan to every day, vaginally. Don't know if it was just a coincidence...
