New HRT Prepayment Certificate

Not sure how widely known this is, I just spotted it in the news. Annual prepayment for HRT, starts April. £18.70 for a year!

So is HRT not covered through the standard prepayment certificate - which is about £10 per month - I think for all prescriptions.

Or do we need this one being issued on 1/4/23:?

I am just about to start HRT and thought it would've covered in my current prepayment cert.

Just read through and the existing PPC still covers HRT.

That’s good news
This info needs to be widely available, so women due to get a prescription beyond the next 4 weeks know to get it and don’t pay as usual.

Anyone due to get a prescription in March might also find they have enough supply to keep them going until April and can delay getting their prescription filled until April.
