Bit of a long one ( sorry )

In Oct last year I found out I was pregnant to a guy I had been seeing a matter of weeks ( I'm 37 ) anyway we made the decision not to continue the pregnancy ( which was wise cos he turned out to be a bit of a knob 😂)
I've not had a period since ! I'm not pregnant .. been going a bit batshit with it all anyway last month I caved and went to the Dr's
They sent me for numerous bloods

Today they've sent me another bloods form to go have done next month ( no communication from a Dr either ) on the form it says POI which I've googled to find out it's premature ovarian insufficiency

Is this the menopause??
My mum was 28 when she went through it
My sister is early 40s and just had a baby

Was that my last chance ??

How far along were you when you terminated? I don’t think four months post pregnancy without a period is that unusual. I’m surprised your doctor has referred you. Is the latest form a follow up based on results from the original bloods?

I was less than 6 weeks
Yes it is I think it's like hormone ones ticked on the form then "?POI written on the extras bit

?POI means query POI, as in it gives an indication what the doctor is potentially looking for.

I’d assume the doctor is asking for that to be checked as it might be missed when the bloods are done. Did you explain your mother’s age when she went through the menopause as it could be it’s being checked because of that?
