Patches won't stay stuck!

I finally started HRT this week and cannot keep the patches stuck to my skin, I woke up to find one in my bed and then the next day lost the replacement again! Anyone else just not had any joy with patches sticking to their skin? I'm going to contact the doc and guess i'll have to swap to gel or something else but just wondered if this was something others had experienced? I had to wait about 49 days from getting my patches to actually be able to start as I didn't have a period so waited all that time only to then find they wouldn't stay stuck!

I'm doing too well with them either! Put my 6th one today but it's actually the 8th one i've used. I can't work out why some stuck well and others didn't at all. I put them on clean, cooled (after I'd had a bath or shower) and non-moisturised skin. One barely stuck from the moment it went on and literally fell off the next morning and another rubbed off when I was wearing jeans. I've changed from putting them at the top of my thigh to putting them on my stomach and that seems to work a bit better despite it being flabbier. I'm also concerned that they're leaving marks on my skin so i'm going to run out of places to put them at this rate! oh, and i've also started bleeding on week 3 of using them so goodness knows how this one will pan out! On the plus side, the brain fog seems to be improved.

I put mine on my bum cheeks, on the basis that knickers protect them a bit.
