Lenzetto success?

Hi
I've been on evorel 75 patches long term now, but they are irritating my skin. My specialist has given me a prescription for lenzetto to trial.

Anyone using lenzetto with success?

Thanks.

Bumping for you.

I started it on Tuesday for the first time

Runaround50 · 18/02/2023 15:23

@Workinghardeveryday Thankyou. How are you finding it? My menopause specialist said use 1 spray daily, but I was on a 75 patch?

I don’t have anything to compare to as this my first time using hrt for peri.

I started taking it together with ultrogesten on an evening, to cut a long story, they prescribed incorrectly, I was given advice to take the tablet at night when I shouldn’t have been. By day 2 I was incredibly tearful and so very down. Rang docs and they apologised, told me to stop tablets and started them again on day 15.

Regarding the spray, it’s so easy to use unlike the patches or gel. Dries very quickly and you can get on with your day.

My anxiety has for a few years been very debilitating, oddly since I started the spray so far I feel weirdly chilled out and calmer… long may it last!!!

That sounds promising for you, I do hope it works for you long term.

I have tried patches, gel and tablets, so a bit of a seasoned HRT user! The gel makes me feel wired and nauseous, tablets I don't absorb and patches are irritating my skin now, so lenzetto it is next.

Best of luck and thanks for replying. I too need hrt for anxiety and the jitters, so fingers crossed 🤞

Thank you, fingers crossed for the both of us!

I think it sounds perfect for you given what you have said. I have had no nausea or noticed anything other than more of a ‘fuck it’ attitude - which is major for me. I am generally a big worrier and get worked up about normal things like popping out for a loaf of bread.

My mindset seems different in a good way, more like I used to be.

Sex drive seems to be coming back to, unfortunately kids are always here 😂

Runaround50 · 18/02/2023 16:47

Ha ha.. love the " fuck it " attitude! I'm the same, a big worrier!

My kids are teens and one of them is always about. Ah well, fuck it ! 😆

🤣 that actually made me lol 😂.

You will have to let me know how you get on. When are you thinking of starting it?

Runaround50 · 18/02/2023 18:03

🤣
Well I'm collecting the prescription on Monday and will give myself a spray then.

🤞🤞

I started on oestrogel last year, but it was out of stock after the first three months so I had to switch to Lenzetto and I have been on it since.
At first it didn't work for me as well, but I upped the dose and it's been fine since. My main problems had been sleeplessness, anxiety and the occasional hot flush and they're so much better now. My hair is thicker, too.
Also it dries in a matter of seconds, which is an improvement on oestrogel.

Workinghardeveryday · 18/02/2023 21:32

I really think it will be great for you 😁.

so easy, no gel that takes ages to rub in, no patch leaving stickiness.

😁

Runaround50 · 19/02/2023 09:33

@ThisWOMANWontWheesht what dose of lenzetto are you currently on? I'm glad it's working for you.

@Workinghardeveryday I hope it continues to work for you too! I have to say, I'm done with the black marks on my bum! 🤦‍♀️😊

@Runaround50 I was prescribed 2 skooshes, but found that a bit lacking and upped it to 3. I also run my finger around the inside of the spray funnel thing and wipe the excess on my arm! If I feel unusually anxious or flushy I'll have 4.
Dr. said that it was OK to adjust dose when required.

DelphiniumBlue123 · 20/02/2023 14:55

1 spray daily is very low indeed.
3 pumps is equivalent to a 50 patch.

Runaround50 · 20/02/2023 19:50

Ah yes I did think one spray was a bit sparse. I've got 3 pump bottles worth and it says between 1-3 sprays daily.

Here goes then...
