When to switch from Evoril Sequi to Evoril 75 and Utrogestan

After six months on Evoril Sequi GP has agreed to change my prescription as I have generally been doing well but have raised anxiety levels and headaches every time I change to the Conti patches.

I'm moving to Evoril 75 and Utrogestan capsules and never thought to ask my GP when in the cycle to switch.

Common sense suggests that I see through my current four week cycle of Sequi but that means another headache this weekend.

I'm thinking of finishing my current Evoril 50 patches then instead of moving to Conti, moving to Evoril 75 and Utrogestan which means maintaining a mix of estradiol and progesterone albeit different concentrations to Evoril Sequi.

Has anyone done similar?

Thanks in advance.

Hi! I too am on Sequi and about to change. The Dr gave me gel and Utrogestan however the oestrogen level in the gel is lower than my 50 sequi patch! So on Monday I'm going to ask for Evorel 75 patch instead. Just wondering how you're getting on with the change and when did you change? I've only got 3 more Conti to use so could just see those out before the switch? Any info appreciated :)

I switched about six weeks ago, I waited until I'd finished a four week cycle using the Conti patches for the last two weeks if I remember correctly. It's been brilliant for me so far, and some others have posted about issues with Utrogestan but I've not noticed any ill effects. Hope all goes well for you with your switch.
