Boobs suddenly heavy and sore

It’s the start of peri menopause isn’t it? I am 41. Noticed over the last couple of months my periods aren’t as regular, not much, but by a couple of days. Didn’t think much of it, but for the last couple of weeks my boobs (usually only a 32A) are feeling very heavy, my normal bras don’t feel supportive. They are also sore to touch, ti the point where giving someone a hug hurts. Last time they felt like this was when I was pregnant. It’s very unlikely to be this as dp has had the snip.
is there anything I should be doing? I eat quite heavily, exercise and try to get enough sleep. I also take calcium supplements anyway.
what else can I expect?

Sounds like it OP. Do you get any brain fog? That crept up on me.

My boobs feel the same before my now irregular periods. The dc have to hug me gently. It's been one of my later signs but has been around for the last 6-12 months. It's a good warning of incoming AF with not being regular. I get tearful the day or two before and far more irritable than years ago.
However, please see your GP to check just to rule out anything else and see if they can offer anything to help relieve the sureness.

Also take a pregnancy test. There's been a few posts I've read on mumsnet about the snip reversing itself and women getting pregnant.
