Bleeding Q involving utrogestan

Is it normal to not have a bleed until 2 weeks after stopping utrogestan each month meaning I start taking them again literally just as the bleeding stops? I thought a bleed started 3-5 days after taking it for 12 days? This has been my experience for the past 4 months.

No it's not normal.

It is possible that you are not having a withdrawal bleed and it's your natural period (if you are still in peri.)

How much estrogen do you use and how much Utrogestan?

Hi. I’m on 2x100 utrogestan oral for 12 days and my patch is Estradot 50.

Not all women bleed on sequential hrt.

Were your periods still regular before you started it?

if so, it's likely to still be your own cycle.

Yeah I still had a period. I had all peri menopause symptoms except lack of period. Been on it since April 2022 and in past few months it’s longer and longer between stopping utrogestan and bleeding starting. It’s mainly brown stringy discharge for first 3 or 4 days followed by light pink spotting and a bit of bleeding. Prior to that I had heavy clots the first few months on HRT.
im worried something is wrong. I’ve made a Gp appt for next week. Stopped taking utrogestan on 2nd of Feb and still no bleed but I feel crampy and pms.
