Hi , I never used to get anxious about going to the dentist , Dr or Optician but over the last few years since menopause, I really struggle to book appointments, I’m terrified that something sinister will be found it’s not rational atall
I’m due an eye test with a new optician as my current one has just retired but I’m so nervous
any advice please ?

@Frostytiger87 I'm the same!!! Every ache or pain is something really bad in my mind. Had the nurse and cancelled the appointment twice and sweated thru all my clothes waiting to see her.
Started on duloxetine near 3 weeks ago but no improvement yet.
I wish I had an answer for you x

I feel you op. I’m exactly the same . I was hoping being on HRT would make a difference but sadly it hasn’t . It really is a miserable situation.

@Frostytiger87 I really don't want to be on meds but it's got to the point where I just feel like what's the point.
I can't sleep, I'm anxious all the time and I'm bloody miserable x
