Pause patches to avoid holiday+bleed combo

New-Ish to HRT. Evorel50,then Conti, which gives me a withdrawal bleed in week 4 that has been really heavy and painful (I hope it settles but will speak to doctor if not). My question is : am I ok to just delay the start of a packet by a few days so that the bleed starts once I'm home from holiday.

I think you're fine by a few days. But if it's after the progesterone part, you will bleed anyway.

Thank you. So...I'm on week 4 right now, and want to delay week 4 happening next time.
Do I delay the whole 4 week cycle by a few days, by starting the new packet later, or start the packet and have a short break between the end of the two weeks of evorel 50 and the start of the 2 weeks of Conti.

I think I'm over thinking it... I'll just delay opening the next packet...
