I've been on these for 3 months and felt like I needed more. Worked great for the first month but feel like symptoms are creeping back. The nurse who I've been seeing cancelled my appointment so booked to see gp. It was a locum and she gave me extra evorel 25 patches to top up. Has anyone added another 25 to their routine? Do i only use for the first 2 weeks or carry on and she didn't say and the directions say one patch twice weekly. Also worried should my second progesterone patch not be increased? Feeling confused now and due to put evorel 50 on tomorrow

Im not sure but im similar although its everol conti. My menopause nurse told me this week that i can cut my everol 50 patch in 2 if i feel my symptoms are going back to how i was, am on it 4 months and felt same as you.

Sorry for bumping a slightly older thread but I’ve got the same issue - I’ve just been prescribed Evorel Sequi with 50mg patches for the first two weeks, and then 25mg patches that just say “apply one patch twice weekly”. Is the extra 25mg meant to stay on throughout the whole cycle, or do I leave these off during the second two weeks?

Evorel sequi will have 2 different patches in them the evorel 50 ones and then evorel conti. Use the 50 for 2 weeks and then the conti for 2 weeks. The conti has the progesterone part in them.

Sorry! I misread your question. I realise that the 25mg is a top up to the 50mg. Just wear them all the way through. As you still have the oestrogen in the conti patch so it will be topping up that as well.

Ok, thanks, that make sense!
