Hello, sorry if this has already been asked, but can anyone please recommend or know of HRT that doesn’t cause bleeding.
Im struggling with all menopause symptoms, tried the duo of patch and progesterone but I was continually bleeding for 14 days. I’d stop for a week then bleed again.
So frustrated with this any advice welcome TIA

If you have not had a natural period for 12 more or more, you can use one of the bleed-free types.

If you are young and in peri, you need sequential HRT which gives a timed, monthly withdrawal bleed.

If you are using the first type (above) too soon, you can bleed at very odd times.

Mirena coil? I have this for contraception and it covers my progesterone needs. I haven’t had a period since I was in my late 30’s I’m now mid 40’s.
I got it due to heavy periods. Not having a period has been properly life changing. No monthly emotional rollercoaster (which is properly blissful) and never have to worry about flooding, leaking, swimming, holidays etc. Saves money on sanitary products too!
