Started HRT 3 months ago, on day 24 of period

Wondering if this is normal? I started HRT in October and periods have jumped about all over the place (seem to have become a much shorter cycle and lasting longer). This month seems to be the worst, i started period 24 days ago and i have been bleeding ever since. It slowed down after about day 12 as if it was stopping then started up again, now on 2 pads a day. Also a lot more clotting than normal...any advice welcome....thanks.

Not helpful but this has happened to me in recent months, including the clotting, because of peri menopause…so can only assume hormones are not right? Perhaps go back to GP?

Thanks Speedmacarons, i'm due a review at end of January, hoping it will have stopped by then! 🙁
