Heavy bleeding on Evorel Sequi

I’m on my third month of taking Evorel Sequi, I take 2 weeks of the regular patches then 2 weeks of the Conti (progesterone containing ones) the day I start the Conti ones I will bleed for 7 days with the first 3-4 days being heavy and painful. One of the reasons I started HRT as my periods were going haywire even on the mini pill. I was on the mini pill for 11 years no problem no periods then all of a sudden I was getting break-through bleeds and bleeding for 6 weeks at a time so peri menopause was diagnosed (I’m 47) and I was given the patches.

Just wondering if this is the case with everyone on Everol?

I have just started the same patches @sweetkitty . Tomorrow I start month 2. Horrible, heavy, clotty bleeding since Thursday.

I'm a bit jaded as my periods had become so light over the last couple of years. The reading I've done suggests that the bleeding will calm down within 6 months.

Nothing's ever easy, is it?

I'm a smidge younger than you.

Anyway, when I go for my nurse check up in a month, I'll ask if I need to make an appointment to get doses adjusted.

My GP recommended the app Balance as a good source of info.

My periods have been really heavy and incredibly painful since starting Evorel 50.

The doctor has suggested the Mirena coil. I'm still trying to decide. Naproxen is helping with the pain. The heaviness in manageable when WFH.

On evorel sequi 50 as had flushes, anxiety etc this seemed to sort everything out but 6 months in still bleeding and constantly! Twice have asked if it can be altered and just been told things will settle! Patches have fixed everything except the bleeding, Really getting me down.55 years old.
