Bleeding post menopause

It’s about 3 years since I reached post menopause.
Prescribed Evorel Conti patches which I change twice a week.

I admit that sometimes patch change can be a little delayed, a day or so if I forget.

I’ve had a couple of bouts of bleeding over the last month. Could this be due to the lack of hormone, you know like when you forget to take a contraceptive pill and get a breakthrough bleed?

I’ve had bleeding before that has been investigated and all was fine. I wasn’t on HRT then though.

You could try being more consistent in routinely changing patches, see if that prevents bleeding

Bleeding post menopause always needs to be investigated. Please see your GP.

Oh I will @FictionalCharacter. I was just asking re the bleeding possibly being coincidental re the patch changes.

@Carrieonmywaywardsun I do try, just forget sometimes

I have had bleeding for over a year now- it has been investigated and all is fine.

I initially changed to Evorel 75 with a separate progesterone, then upped the progesterone and now am trying g a synthetic progesterone.

Some women need more progesterone than the Conti patches provide so maybe try separate progesterone first.

Thanks for the advice @Movinghouseatlast. I’m waiting for a date for a scan. Once the investigations are done I’ll discuss re changing HRT with the GP if the bleeding continues
