Mirena bleeding

I had the Mirena inserted a month ago during a Hysteroscopy. I also had a polyp removed and a biopsy taken. I had the procedure due to endometrial hyperplasia.

I didn't really bleed after the procedure however, I have been bleeding, dark brown blood, every day (sorry if TMI).

Is this usual after having the mirena due to hyperplasia? I need to go back to the GP in two weeks to have the coil checked but just thought I'd ask beforehand.

I had a little bleeding on and off for a few months after the fitting, but it sounds like you're much heavier. I'd definitely contact the GP.
