Advice before appointment

I've managed to get a telephone appointment next week with a practice nurse, thank goodness.

I'm 45, taking the combined pill, have had 4 covid vaccinations and am having period hell. Currently on week 5 of an extremely heavy period (not like me, ever) with horrendous flooding and alarmingly large clots. Same 8 weeks ago. Was given Provera and told I could go for scans for fibroids if the same happened this month. So I'm going to request a scan to check.

I also have restless legs, horrible eczema (new two years ago), anxiety (on medication) and that waking up early despite being exhausted, and being unable to get back to sleep.

I don't want a coil but am just wondering if I might be offered HRT or, to be quite Frank, anything to stop this awful, persistent bleeding. It's at the stage where I have to plan well ahead before considering leaving the house ... are there bins, how long can my san pro last, etc.

Thank you for reading.

Mirena coil was the best thing I did. I got anemic due to the bleeding.

I'm borderline anaemic and, after these last few weeks, feel weak and tired. I'm really concerned about weight gain with the coil, though.
