Have been on Evorel patches for about a year, gradually gone up through the doses and now on 75 mcg. No issues with the 25 mcg or 50 mcg patches, but the larger patches are just awful, my skin is reacting badly to the glue (well I think it's the glue) and have red sore bits all over my hips and bum. Now I have already spoken to the GP about switching to gel - initially he had eanted to prescribe gel but a year ago supply was awful and patches were a more reliable supply.
Could the fact my skin is reacting to the patches also mean that the estrogen isn't being absorbed as readily?
