Bowel changes menopausal

Hoping for some advice.

I am 50 last 2-3 months have had some bowel changes. Very soft and occasionally feeling constipated. Did have some bloating as well.

I had a variety of tests from the doctors including stool sample and all are negative. So I am wondering if it's food intolerance? I cut out milk and that does seem to have cut out the bloating feeling but probably haven't really cut out other dairy.

I am thinking to just go to a really basic chicken / fish / rice / veg diet for a while to see if hat makes a difference and if not go back to doctors.

Anyone been through this and got any advice?

Digestive disturbances can be part of menopause, as you obviously know. I found that cutting out wheat and sugar and general processed foods helped a lot. I had a gastroscopy and nothing found.

Thanks - yes I am hoping it's just that. The fact the bloating seemed to go cutting out dairy makes me feel it's nothing more. I also seem to have piles I guess from Al the toilet visits , there was a little red blood but I am assuming that's linked into that.
