Oestradiol levels

Hi,
I keep have blood tests for various reasons. My oestradiol levels keep going down. What range is normal for peri?

It's hard to say from what you have posted.

Can you discuss with your dr?

Oh yes sorry!! My Dr has admitted he isn’t great with knowledge on hormones and has prescribed AD as one of my symptoms in anxiety. My oestradiol level was 300 and now less than 200. LH serum below reference and FSH has been on the high side

If you are over 45 you don't need blood tests. If you are younger, they test your FSH between day 2 and 5 of your cycle- on two cycles.

estrogen rises and falls throughout a monthly cycle. Surely he knows that? It's GCSE biology level!

ADs are not prescribed for peri meno anxiety.
Your GP is so out of touch as NICE meno guidance 2015 states this clearly.

Thanks. I have had the discussions with the Dr but the dr is insistent that if it was peri or not AD would be prescribed. Anxiety is one of a multitude of symptoms and I’m under 45. The nurse says peri but I just wondered about hormone levels.
