Feeling flat and emotionless

I'm nearly 50yo and I started 50mg patches and 200mg progesterone days 1-12 of every month at the end of October, so only been on it about a month. Am sleeping better and hot flushes have lessened I suppose but my god, I just feel so flat! I feel it is an effort for my mouth to smile, particularly when I am on my own - which I want to be more often than not. Libido completely non existent whereas before it was there a tiny bit. This isn't helped by feeling completely knackered every evening at about 7pm. I feel like I did when I was early pregnant with twins!

Anyone else? Do you think I may need more oestrogen? More progesterone? A new body!!?

When I swapped over to conti HRT I found the flat feeling returned until I upped my oestrogen. Am also on testosterone for libido. It works!

Yes, I do wonder if I need more oestrogen. My Dr said after 3 months she would do a blood test for testosterone and if this is low, get some of that. I wish it was easy!!

Your patch is far too low and your progesterone dose too high. Progesterone is notorious for causing that awful blank/grey feeling. I know it well.

Can you see a specialist to tweak your HRT properly? GPs are hopeless when it comes to this.

Omg same flat as a pancake me. Low mood, low self esteem, low everything. Joyless, fruitless, moods, sweats, flushing, anxiety rashes. Just changed my HRT to 25mcg from 50mcg and Progestogen.
