Hi Ladies, just looking for some advice please

My doctor prescribed my first course of HRT last week and to cut a long story short, the script was sent to a local pharmacy. When I went to collect it, they had no record. Spent Saturday going to all the others in the area but no joy.

Managed to get through to the GP this morning, who confirmed it was sent (to one I'd previously called in) and when I called the pharmacy, they said yes, we have received it but do not have any in stock and suggest you try to source it yourself.

I don't really fancy trawling around all the other local chemists and wondered if it is possible to get it filled on line? and if so, who are the best option to use?

Any advice would be great 🙂

Drives me mad when pharmacies do this. We shouldn't have to source our own medication whatever it is. My elderly df was told they didn't have his heart meds in stock and to 'sources elsewhere', surely it should be their responsibility to ring round and get stock sent to them.

Not much help sorry! I believe Boots have an online stock checker so you could try their first.

Doesn't work like that. Pharmacies are private business and can't just get drugs from others.
