Ultragestan

Hello ,
I started taking ultragestan on Wednesday along side the gel . I have just realised I should have been taking 200mg and not 100mg ( one tablet ) what should I do ? Just start taking 200 mg from tonight ? I am taking it around 9pm each night and I have been feeling quite sick during the day with a headache but I don’t know if it’s related as I have a lot of stress at the moment.

Yes just start with 200mg now, a few days of 100mg won't make any difference.

Many women feel sick when starting utrogestan, it may settle down after a couple of weeks if not you can take it vaginally. Not officially licenced for vaginal use but widely used this way anyway and supported by meno experts.

Thanks for your help . Does anyone know how long HRT takes to have an effect ?

My HRT had an effect within days. I felt lighter, calmer, no flushes and slept better. I'm staying on it for life (as long as it's possible)
