Tsh is spot on.

Don't know the other but oestrogen isn't a reliable test at this stage. You can fluctuate a lot in peri.

Have you tracked symptoms?

mumdone · 13/11/2022 10:06

Thank you. Just started to track.

the reference range is 0.4 for TSH so I thought it was a little under?

It could be a tiny bit but it also varies a little during the day. If they did antibody tests it could show graves antibodies. But I'm not sure 0.3 is a huge cause for concern. Was t4 tested?

It is however worth being tested again in a few months if graves is suspected.

What are your symptoms?

Also labs use different ranges - it should be listed in your notes the range they use.

Ok thanks. I’m having further thyroid function tests and hormones. Tiredness, weight loss (although) that’s stopped, headaches, anxiety, insomnia, so many other conditions have this also though

It's wise to get it checked out as that's certainly how graves can start.

Excellent charity. They do also have member help lines (may need to be a member, not sure.)

I would suggest also keeping peri in mind as the two have very similar symptoms, both hyper and hypo.

Thanks so much. Teasing apart the symptoms and trying to discuss with my GP who puts everything down to anxiety/depression. Which it might well be but i want to make sure I rule everything else out.
