I can’t remember the last time I felt well

I’m going to make a doctors appointment but am just posting to I guess moan.

I can’t remember the last time I felt properly well for any length of time. I had Covid August 2020 but I think this predates that. I’m 56 post menopause- no HRT tried one tablet for a short while a few years ago but it didn’t seem to do anything so stopped.

Underactice thyroid been on medication for years. Put on so much weight and can’t seem to lose it. Exhausted. Fat old and ugly. Feel miserable and anxious. migraines (started in my 2nd pregnancy). Work in secondary school so surrounded by bugs - sure I’ve had Covid twice in the last yr but LFT we’re neg but exactly the same symptoms as when I had a positive PCR in 2020.

I just feel and look shit. I’m miserable- probably depressed - and just want to feel better.

im going to make any appointment to see gp but don’t know what to say other then I’m fat, old, ugly and miserable.

I’m don’t think there’s much point to my post.

Please don't think this about yourself , there is always a point to this kind of post . I felt exactly the same I had COVID in April 2020 but felt crap before that . After 2 years of feeling terrible I saw my doctor and now have HRT patches & progesterone and now I sleep well feel better and my confidence is back . I really felt lost for a long time . Tell your GP exactly how you feel don't hold back . There is so much they can do to help you have the right to feel better 💐

Did you have any luck making a docs appointment @LadyLazarus40 ? I’m also wondering if I should get some bloods done as I seem to be catching every bug going recently.

OP get an endocrinologist referral, they can vary your medicine for the hypothyroidism. Weight management impacts effectiveness of Levothyroxine.
