HRT side effects anyone?

I'm having all sorts of horrible symptoms, anxiety, depression low mood and no motivation, irritability and sleepless nights hot flushes, erratic to none periods to name a few.

Considering HRT if it's available but curious to know what symptoms people have experienced, also heard it can cause hair loss which I don't want.
I'm also only 38 but family history of early menopause, haven't seen a GP not sure there's a lot of point until I decide if I should start HRT.

I had violent reaction to hrt. I suspect it's a reaction to the progesterone. Made me suicidal had the same reaction to birth control

I'm on Estradot patches for three and a half years. No side effects. It stopped my horrendous anxiety, low mood, panic attacks, joint pain, dry skin, broken sleep and lack of interest in life. Hrt gave me back the joy in life which had been missing for a while. Hrt isn't for everyone but when it works it gives you your normal life back. Hrt has many benefits physically and mentally. Talk to your doctor and try it, it maybe for you. Remember there are many different types of hrt.

I'm on the Evorel patches, I feel much more myself on them and need. To use them but I've put weight on which doesn't seem to want to shift.

An almost permanently blocked nose.

All positive other than getting a regular period which is annoying as I'd almost stopped.
