So I need to speak to the doctor, I think I am mid menopause and I want a discussion about HRT.

Queue on the phone a mile long so as instructed I 'go online' and go to the 'online consult' page. In the symptoms box I type in 'Menopause' and it autofills for me and then this is the result I get back END OF LIFE CARE as the first result.

Even worse when I send this to the doctors I get an email back to say they don't have anything to do with what the website says !! Its got their name on the top of it.

AIBU to ask them to investigate further or is this just another case of menopausal women being completely invisible. There is no other mention of the menopause on the site AT ALL until I have to explain why I am not pregnant on the online form

All they can do is feed back to the provider - Online Consult is a third party product they have bought into, they have no control over the content. It's a terrible tool, looking at it, it's badly designed and written as well as being incomplete, but they can't add content to it.

It's probably not even the individual practice that has bought into the online consultation package. It is probably being provided and paid for by the CCG.

I know that they don't do the content my point is how can anyone (3rd party included) not have any reference to menopause at all to search and when it autofills how does it decide end of life care is relevant????

That is my point
