Does low oestrogen = PMT symptoms?

Hi,
Been on the 75 patch a good couple of years and had the mirena coil fitted 4 months ago.

This week I feel exhausted, irritable, lower tummy cramps and just meh!
My sleep is appalling, even on HRT.

Could this be due to low oestrogen? I don't tolerate the 100 patch well. It makes me more irritable.

Frankly, I'm exhausted with life!

Could it be your own cycle coming through? Or a virus?

I went up v v slowly to 100, it can make me anxious too.

I was given 25 patches to cut in half it you could even add thirds and stay like that for a good couple of months before trying next step.

Feeling the same @Runaround50 . I have Mirena and I was on Evorel 75 for the past 6 months no problem. I then started feeling symptoms creeping back (mainly emotional - rage/panic/anxiety) so GP switched me to estrogel so I could easily adjust dose. I went straight up to 4 pumps (equivalent to Evorel 100) and suddenly felt buzzing but not really in a good way. Sort of wired and on edge. My breasts swelled up and became unbearably painful immediately.
So I've dropped down to 2 pumps which has helped with my breasts but I still feel a bit wired and have terrible insomnia.
I might go back to Evorel 75. Or maybe 100. Sorry that's not much help!
